Muppets Most Wanted {REVIEW}

Muppets Most Wanted {REVIEW}

I received the awesome privilege of screening Muppets Most Wanted with a guest (my 7 year old) in exchange for this review.  All opinions expressed here are honest and my own.

“It’s time to play the music. It’s time to light the lights. It’s time to meet the Muppets on the Muppet Show tonight…….”

The Muppets are back in town and as funny and exciting as ever.   Not only do you get to see all of your Muppet favorites like Kermit, Miss Piggy, Animal, Fozzie, Ralph, Gonzo, and the rest of the gang…..You will see some familiar faces: Tina Fey, Ricky Gervais, Ty Burell, and some surprise cameos.

Here is the movie in a nutshell:

“Disney’s “Muppets Most Wanted” takes the entire Muppets gang on a global tour, selling out grand theaters in some of Europe’s most exciting destinations, including Berlin, Madrid and London. But mayhem follows the Muppets overseas, as they find themselves unwittingly entangled in an international crime caper headed by Constantine—the World’s Number One Criminal and a dead ringer for Kermit—and his dastardly sidekick Dominic, aka Number Two, portrayed by Ricky Gervais. The film stars Tina Fey as Nadya, a feisty prison guard, and Ty Burrell as Interpol agent Jean Pierre Napoleon. Disney’s “Muppets Most Wanted” is directed by James Bobin and produced by David Hoberman and Todd Lieberman. Bobin co-wrote the screenplay with Nicholas Stoller, who is also executive producer with John G. Scotti. Featuring music from Academy Award®-winning songwriter Bret McKenzie, “Muppets Most Wanted” hits the big screen March 21, 2014.”

(WALT DISNEY PICTURES) This film is rated PG.  Opens in Theaters Friday, March 21st!

My daughter and I had so much fun and the giggles were priceless.  I highly recommend Muppets Most Wanted to all families with children 5 and up or depending on their attention span and how well they can keep up with the story.  I was previously concerned that my 7 year old might be bored, but she was intrigued the entire movie as was mommy!  Can’t wait for the entire family to see the film.

My favorite part of MUPPETS MOST WANTED was when Kermit was put in jail and the lights went out and there was a crashing noise.  That was so funny.   ~Lyssa (7)

The Muppets still got it!
