Introducing The Number One Cup…a remedy for those long car rides with young boys.

When we first got this product to try out, my son and husband just had to giggle because we are a farming family and when little farm boys need to go…they just go. We had to wrap our minds around this gadget and its intentions.

Here’s a brief description from Emily Baldwin, the creator of The Number One Cup to understand the ins and outs of this product:

The Number One Cup is to help solve those “gotta go now” emergencies. This simple receptacle is a must for every parent of boys heading out in the car. Convenience and ease of use were the primary goals when designing The Number One Cup. It’s simple to use and can be mastered quite easily by boys as young as age 3 (though practice makes perfect, as with any new skill). On long road trips it can be used several times and then emptied and rinsed to be ready for the next use. The cup is made from PETE (Polyethylene terephthalate), which is considered a safe plastic by numerous health authorities, is tapered to fit into most auto cup holders, and features a tethered lid and finger grips sized for smaller fingers (to avoid slipping). It also comes with 3 sanitary hand wipes for on-the-go hygiene.

As mentioned above, practice does make perfect with The Number One Cup. My 5-year-old doesn’t have his aiming down pat yet, but there’s potential. The size of this cup is great for little hands and the cute skull and cross-bones does get the point across that this cup isn’t for drinking. Bonus items that came along were the hand wipes and as all parents can attest to… can never have enough of those on hand.

If you are a parent of young boys and travel a lot, this is the product for you. It is simple, gets the job done, and is quite a conversation piece.  My 5-year-old couldn’t help but tell everyone he knew about The Number One Cup after he got it and how it works. That is worth more than paid advertising.

The cup is currently available in orange and black, is made in America, and is BPA-free. Additional color combinations and a version for girls are currently in development.
