DIY Carwash Fun with the Kiddies

It is time for fun summer activities including water fun. Water fun doesn’t have to be at the beach or waterpark, it can be right at home in your driveway and backyard.

Need a car wash? Involve the kiddies! Have them get their bathing suits and get ready to get wet and have fun all the while cleaning the family car.  All you will need is buckets of water, car soap, rags, and a hose.  If you prefer DIY soap without chemicals, you can find those recipes on Pinterest.

To avoid getting soap in the eyes, be sure to do the soapy part of washing first.  It’s still fun to get the soapy suds on each other (Soap Suds Fight) just keep in mind your child’s age.  Older kids may have more fun with the soap suds fights. After the car has been sprayed down and free of those soap suds, the kids can splash and spray each other.
