Welcome to Amazon Product of the Week!  Every week I will try to share with you a product from Amazon that I think you may enjoy or share with others.  Who here just loves Amazon? Me!  Okay, here is my first pick:

What will Amazon think of next?  They recently came out with the new Fire Phone.  It’s truly unique in several ways and definitely has me curious if it would be better than my Apple iPhone? Hmmmm…….

It has:

Firefly Technology-This means:

“Quickly identify printed web and email addresses, phone numbers, QR and bar codes, plus over 100 million items, including movies, TV episodes, songs, and products—simply press and hold the dedicated Firefly button to discover useful information and take action in seconds.”

Dynamic Perspective: This means

“Experience interactions not possible on other smartphones. Tilt, auto-scroll, swivel, and peek to navigate menus and access shortcuts with one hand. Dive into a new class of immersive apps and games—peek to see detailed views of clothing, shoes, and more in the new Amazon Shopping app for Fire phone, or take on a character’s viewpoint to see around corners and obstacles in games.”

Mayday: This is

“Get free, live, on-device video support with an Amazon expert, 24×7, 365 days a year at the touch of a button. No appointments necessary. Now available over the AT&T cellular network, in addition to Wi-Fi.”

Sounds pretty awesome and unique, doesn’t it?  This also includes a full year of Prime.  Amazon Prime is unlimited streaming of movies, TV episodes, music playlists, library, and more!

Amazon Fire Phone makes it easy for you to transfer your contacts, photos, music, and videos directly from your Samsung, iPhone, or other Smartphone. Pretty nifty!

I guess the next question is how much does this Fire Phone cost?  It seems comparable and varies  with service agreement ranging from $0.00-$649.00 for the 32GB.  They also have a 64GB which is more pricier.  AT&T can be your carrier as well which is a bonus for my family if we ever decide to give it a shot!

What are your thoughts on the Amazon Product of the Week? Do you think Amazon is smart for creating their first smartphone?  Maybe you are trying it out now.  Feel free to share your experiences with us!
